Technology Innovator Don Cohen Joins CheckPoint HR as Chief Technology Officer

Edison, NJ (June 16, 2014) — Continuing its focus on growth, CheckPoint HR, Inc. today announced that Don Cohen has joined the organization as chief technology officer.

Mr. Cohen will direct the company’s technology initiatives, including the advancement of its CheckPoint
Choice technology platform, employee benefits marketplace, HRIS/HRMS technology and payroll data
integration engine. Additionally, he will review and improve the company’s operations, leveraging

CheckPoint HR, Inc. Acquires Group Consulting, Inc.

Edison, NJ (May 7, 2014) —  Employee benefit and human resource technology innovator CheckPoint HR, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Group Consulting, Inc., an insurance brokerage based in New York City. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Group Consulting has operated in metropolitan New York since 1998, providing employee benefits
brokerage and consulting services to organizations throughout the region. President Ralph Spagnuola
joined the company in 2005 and has held key roles in the health insurance industry for over 14 years. He currently serves as president of the Metro Chapter of the National Association of Health
Underwriters.

All Group Consulting employees will join CheckPoint HR and continue serving clients from the
company’s New York City offices.

CheckPoint HR Holds Client Health Insurance Premium Increases to Less than 1%

February 25, 2013 – Edison, NJ – CheckPoint HR, the leader in HR spend optimization for small to mid-sized businesses, announced that it has kept health insurance premium increases to less than 1% on average for its clients that renew in January.

More than 80% of CheckPoint HR’s clients saw a premium decrease, or a modest increase under 10%, with the overall average coming in at a 0.85% increase.

CheckPoint HR Reports Growth in Employment During Second Quarter of 2012

July 24, 2012 – Edison, NJ – CheckPoint HR, an Administrative Service Organization (ASO) focused on human capital management and benefit programs for small to mid-sized companies, today announced it saw slight growth in employment among its customer base. Hiring during the quarter was up 2.8% for an annualized growth rate of 11.2%. CheckPoint HR polls its data from more than 400 customers in the Tri-State area.
