Edison, NJ (June 16, 2014) — Continuing its focus on growth, CheckPoint HR, Inc. today announced that Don Cohen has joined the organization as chief technology officer.
Mr. Cohen will direct the company’s technology initiatives, including the advancement of its CheckPoint
Choice technology platform, employee benefits marketplace, HRIS/HRMS technology and payroll data
integration engine. Additionally, he will review and improve the company’s operations, leveraging
technology to increase efficiency and scalability.
Edison, NJ (May 7, 2014) — Employee benefit and human resource technology innovator CheckPoint HR, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Group Consulting, Inc., an insurance brokerage based in New York City. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Group Consulting has operated in metropolitan New York since 1998, providing employee benefits
brokerage and consulting services to organizations throughout the region. President Ralph Spagnuola
joined the company in 2005 and has held key roles in the health insurance industry for over 14 years. He currently serves as president of the Metro Chapter of the National Association of Health
All Group Consulting employees will join CheckPoint HR and continue serving clients from the
company’s New York City offices.
